Addictive Drums 1 5 2 Crack Minds
Oh, I was modeling the piccolo snare he uses in some of his other songs. Bear in mind it's not an exact replica of his kit.
To do that, I would need recordings of him with much better quality. Anyway, I'm glad you like the presets!Ohh.I see.Though I think the piccolo snare DID sound close.=))! He loves hitting the rimshots allot. Maybe that gave you the idea to use the piccolo snare. Hmm.Did the 1st link didn't sound HQ enough?.Well, here.

- ( 0:38 & 0:50. Both sound different right.xD?) - - - - Now how's that for a better quality sound of the kits he used.xD? ( I really think he used allot of snares.O_o). I've been meaning to share my presets for a long time, and now that I've found the community at vdrums.com, I think it's time! Here are 25 of my presets: In Windows, just extract these files in the My Documents/Addictive Drums/User Presets folder, and you should be good to go! I'm pretty proud of these presets. The main criticism of Addictive Drums was the 'clanky' sounding hihats, but I found that this was just because the hihat mic was turned way too loud in the default mix.

Enjoy, and let me know what you think!Hi gregjazz. Thanks so much for sharing your awesome presets!I love them! You know, I just got my Addictive Drums yesterday & truly am in love!! Best plug & play VST I have bought yet!
Hi Greg, thanks a lot for posting those presets. I've been using AD + the Retro pack for a week now and it is great. Two things I've run into: I miss a tight, upfront sounding pop/rock kit (like the VEX Masters 50 kits on my TD-9).
I play along music and notice I have to crank up the volume of the preset kits too much to distinguish my playing from the original sound track. And I would like a Phil Collins (In The Air Tonight) kit.
I tried messing with the settings but it didn't sound well and I don't have the time nor want to spend it on fiddling with kits. So anyone who has a tight upfront pop/rock kit and/or a Collins kit to share? Check out this rock kit preset I made from scratch. I think it has a nice room sound to create a powerful rock tone. AUDIO DEMO: DOWNLOAD PRESET: Somehow I can't download this preset.
I follow the link and it gives me the midi ratios etc but not the host 'preset' file. Have an idea? I thought it sounded great on the demo song. I like your sets so far and I want a good rock set most of the time so. ^^ Oh Greg, I have a question. I'm new to AD and I'm using a TD-9 with it.
I updated to 1.5 and finally have easy mappings to my drums. Everything works like a charm but one thing: cymbal chokes. Have an idea how to deal with it? Do I have to assign it manually or is there a simpler trick? Oh Greg, I have a question.

Have an idea how to deal with it? Do I have to assign it manually or is there a simpler trick?Greg isn't a drummer - he's a sound developer and owns Orange Tree Samples. He came here for a short while to do some research on an upcoming drum sample project, and chose to share his AD presets with us. He would have no idea about cymbal chokes or edrum mapping, I suspect. Anyway, AD is set-up to do Roland cymbal chokes by default. If you look in the map window, you'll see in the upper left-hand corner each instrument listed.
